Every project starts with a simple idea. None of them stay that way.

Shooty Bois started with a pretty simple idea: I wanted to build something my kids could be proud of.
I'm a husband, a dad of three, and a guy from West Texas who has spent most of his adult life building businesses, working, raising a family, and doing all the normal things that come with trying to make a life.
But somewhere along the way, I realized I didn't want my kids to grow up hearing me tell them to chase the things they care about while watching me play it safe with mine.
So I started Shooty Bois.
Right now, that means building completely unreasonable factories in Satisfactory, making questionable engineering decisions, and spending far too many hours solving problems that I probably created myself.
But the games aren't really the point.
This channel is my attempt to build something from nothing. To learn a craft I wasn't already good at. To put my work in front of people knowing it might fail. And hopefully, over time, to create something much bigger than a gaming channel.
I want my kids to be able to look back at this someday and see the beginning.
Not the polished version. Not the part where everything worked out.
The part where Dad decided to try.
Maybe Shooty Bois becomes huge. Maybe it takes me somewhere I can't even see yet. I genuinely don't know.
That's part of what makes this worth doing.
For now, I'm going to keep building ridiculous things, telling stories about them, making mistakes in public, and seeing just how far we can take this.
Thanks for being here this early.
